Saber Style: LED Saber

Price Range: $200-$225

Machined as a one-piece body, this hilt slims down to a very small diameter while still accommodating LED electronics inside

The saber begins with 3 mirror polished prongs machined from thick brass plates, sculpted with rounded curves. Each prong is set into a milled slot for stability, with a small window beneath the top prong that allows the vibrant blue LED blade to show through. Past a slimmer diameter neck, lies a wide band sporting two static blue LED's set into polished brass bezels. A heavy knurled band of coin-edge pattern begins the rear grip which houses the hilts activation switch. The grip takes a long, smooth taper into a slimmer diameter, curving to fit just about any hand with a satin finish. Multiple grooves set into the grip are filled with glossy black epoxy. A mirror polished brass Covertec wheel rests in a shallow groove, while the hilts recharge port lies on the opposite side (not shown), so this hilt will never have to be dissembled to be powered up. The hilts pommel is an intricate set of mirror polished brass bars set into milled slots for stability all on a tapered section. Divided by a small black epoxy filled groove and accented with black epoxy filled 'dots', the pommel also sports an ornate brass plug at its base to complete it.
Inside the saber, the powerful 5 Watt LED is run by a 7.2V Lithium Ion battery pack complete with a PCB, so overcharging is never a worry. The battery pack can stay inside the hilt and not have to be removed
