Saber Style: FanFilm Saber

Price Range: Flat $50

Even at a low price of $50, we are still able to show how easy it is to pull off an inexpensive, but highly dramatic hilt.

The saber starts with a traditional "sink drain" style emitter, that gradually steps down 3 times to become the thinner diameter neck. The large detail in the center of the neck section is coated with gold-tinted epoxy, to give a splash of color to the saber. As the hilt widens from the neck, it takes a gently sloped angle, with deep grooves filled with black epoxy, and effortlessly becomes the foregrip. More deep grooves are separated by polished bands of aluminum, making up the foregrip, while the rear grip, features a light-brushed aluminum finish with a half-dozen deep square grooves. A simple, machined aluminum button separates the two sides of the grip. Finally, a mirror polished pommel completes the saber, with a sharp angle, and a solid delrin plug at the base
