Saber Style:ELITE saber Price Range: $250-$275 Designed by a past customer, this is an ELITE saber with EL electronics and comes with a bright green EL blade The saber begins using some design elements that may seem familiar to some people, with a mirror polished shroud and S-curve hiding the emitter underneath. A large set of "ears" is concaved to meet the body of the saber, and a highly polished copper and knurled aluminum button sit directly behind them. On the underside of the hilt, lies the blade set bolt, as well as another polished copper and aluminum dome detail, while two flat bottomed holes flank the sides complete with brass detail pins in them. The main grip of the hilt is a nearly perfect series of lathed V-grooves with milled V's running parallel, all coated in a textured black epoxy. A heavy brush finish contrasts with the mirror polish to make up the midband and the control box of the saber. Deep diamond knurling creates an amazing pattern on the midband, while the concaved control box is milled out to accept a black spacer block and a mirror polished brass strip. The electronics activation button lies on the underside of the midband, and sports an aluminum disc to keep it in the same theme as the rest of the hilt. The rear grip of the hilt is made up of aluminum strips coated with black epoxy over a polished core, with a simple press-fit endcap that is removable to change the batteries, completing the elegant weapon.
