The back story behind this hilts design is that the saber is a combination of an apprentice's hilt and his fallen masters, combined together out of respect. The hilt varies from highly polished surfaces to heavy brush finish with a coat of flat black color, making the layers of the saber really stand out. A curved emitter angle starts off this hilt, with milled flats on the top and underside. A straight knurled button sits behind the first heavy walled shroud of coated black. The second slip-shroud of thinner-walled tube features a severe angle cut on one side and a great radius cut on the other. Between the two shrouds the saber has milled lines dividing the saber into a top and bottom half, with the bottom half being black and heavy brushed, and the top being mirror polished. At the sabers pommel, the end curls back to reveal a polished delrin knob.
