Saber Style:FanFilm Saber Flat Price: $90 This saber was actually a FanFilm style hilt for a local movie being shot, that was out on loan, instead of for purchase, trying to keep the budget for the movie down. When it was returned to us, we decided to dress it up a bit, and make it darker in appearance, but not so dark that it HAD to be evil. The hilt begins as a solid saber, that doesnt split in halves, so it can take a huge amount of abuse, without ratteling or worry about bolts coming loose. The emitters feature massive reverse angle shrouds followed by hammered grey enamel leading down each side of the thin diameter necks. As the necks reach the main body of the saber, it increases in diameter to form large angled retention-bearing style bands, complete with rubber O-rings. A simple section of square grooves is followed by angled knurling that is mirrored on the other half of the saber. Simple decorative buttons adorn both halves and a machined aluminum Covertech Wheel is cupped against the body of the saber on one side.
