Saber Style: EL Ready Saber Price Range: $200-$225 This EL ready design is perfect as either a pair of smaller single sided hilts, or as a massive dual sided weapon. Based on a smaller diameter for more gracefull female hands, the saber begins with a set of large angled rings making up the emitter on each half of the hilt. Directly behind the emitter, the saber scallops into a nicely machined hourglass shape, complete with a pair of cutouts in each, to allow for the glowing light of an EL blade to show through. A simple removable button sits atop each half, allowing the sabers to come apart for easy electronics access. While each half of the dual saber features a long sweeping cutout, showing the grip inside, each of the two grips are different. One side sports a highly polished grip inside the outer shell, while the other side features deep grooves filled with black epoxy separated by lightly polished aluminum bands. The saber twists apart with a simple turn, as its held together by a short length of carbon steel threaded rod, making for a solid joint, yet quick access to twin single sided hilts.
