Saber Style: Retrofit Retrofit price: $75 While we generally dont like to work on other people's hilts, but from time to time, we can be talked into it. This hilt was sent to us, with a different looking shroud entirely, and a rather sparce handgrip, that just needed a little dressing up. We completely removed the emitter shroud, and machined a new, thick sweeping cover, complete with a long milled slot in the top, forking it down the middle. We added the set of 6 milled slots in the foregrip, as well as a small aluminum "holder" for a crystal that can actually be seen through the slots. The premise is that the LED setup will light up the crystal and shine directly through it into the blade. The final addition to the existing hilt is the shell that covers the rear grip, with an angled cutout allowing the grip to show through.
