The largest diameter of the hilt is 1 1/4" while its only 6" long. It is designed to hold a 3/4" blade but also has an adapter to allow it to hold a 1/2" diameter blade as well. Small grooves in the emitter echo all th way down this mini-hilt, until they end at an angled pommel made of tiny steps in the aluminum. A small solid brass plug finishes the hilt, while a brass domed button and a green LED sit atop it.
