The RANDOM SABERS Project began nearly 4 years ago in one sense or another. Originally, we began by offering completely random designed sabers - hilts that we had swimming around in our heads as designs, and were finally able to make into a solid...so to speak. While we had some good times designing our own sabers - we quickly had too large of a collection to even try to display. The most logical thing to do was to try selling them to friends. Word quickly caught on that we were producing high quality sabers designs that were so unlike anything that people had been seeing before, that we began to get inquiries about making more custom work. Suddenly, we were being inundated with requests from people all over the country - word spread from one person at a convention to another until we had no choice but to open up this website =}. Now, some years later and nearly 200 hilt designs under our belt, we have a fairly good following of fans. We create 5 different types of sabers from Stunt sabers to hold 3/4" dueling blades, down to mini-sabers, so that the kids can have a custom saber along with the big guys. We have branched into Electroluminescent sabers, and we have even begun to create a line of sabers specifically used for filming fan-films, which have a lower amount of detail and an unbelievably low pricetag. If you see something on this site that you like, in terms of a saber design, give us a holler - many times we can 'remachine' an older design, and breathe new life into it again.
